¨ What does the inspection report include?
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed to by the Client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process. ¨ How much does the inspection cost?
Each inspection does vary based on the size, construction and contents (kitchen(s) bath(s) ect). However, basic guidelines for our company can be found HERE, and a more specific price can be generated by clicking HERE
¨ How long will the inspection take?
Depending on the independent variables of the home, comprehensive inspections can last from 2hrs to 4hrs
¨ How soon can you typically schedule an inspection?
Our goal is to be available to you, we strive to be efficient and timely. Appointments can be made Monday thru Saturday and we are the only company that offers a 24hr Guarantee.
¨ How soon is the report available? Immediately, the report is sent electronically to your email of choosing once payment is rendered.
¨ Will the prepared report be written or electronic?
All of Homeland Inspection’s reports are generated electronically as the field work is completed, allowing for immediate completion and the availability to send to whatever email account you or your Realtor request. This creates a more timely and efficient process for all parties involved or for whomever you would like to forward a copy to.
¨ What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa and Mastercard as well as personnal checks. *However, if paying with a personal check the report will not be sent until payment has cleared.
¨ Do you encourage the client to attend the inspection?
Clients are always welcome and are certainly encouraged to attend, not only does this allow the inspector to demonstrate or illustrate findings in addition to the report, it allows for the process to be more comprehensive.
